13BEE and Wayne Dyson's RX3 flew the McKern Racing flag high at the Powercruise Streetcar Shootout.  Both cars, which are sponsored by McKern and Associates made the final of the Rotary bracket at the Shootout which was sponsored again by McKern and Associates and finished the weekend both with a string of new PB's.

While Grump2 was in Sydney racing at the ANDRA held Drag Wars event, Bryce and Wayne were lapping up the atomsphere of the Shootout well into the night both running consistent mid to low 8 second passes.

Wayne Dyson, sponsored by Dyson Rotary with support from McKern and Associates, recording in qualifying an 8.34@165mph recording a new PB bettering his 8.36@161mph becoming now the second fastest untubbed rotary in the country with the 165mph.

Bryce then recorded with his McKern sponsored 13BEE RX3 an incredible 8.64@156mph becoming now the quickest leaf sprung OEM chassis rotary in the world confirming this title with an 8.68 and a backing off 8.69 in the final against Wayne.

Due to the heads up format of the event, Wayne took out the final against Bryce and bettered his result from last years event by one moving from runner up to winner.

It was an added bonus for the two McKern sponsored cars to contest the final of the McKern sponsored class was really good for the accountancy firm.
